Playing guitar is all about making music and we won't forget about that. Once you've learned some of the basics we will get to the music that you want to play.

Some of my students have become music majors and performed with jazz bands at universities such as Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Fullerton, The Berklee School of Music in Boston and The New School for Music in New York. Other students perform with rock, jazz, country and blues bands in the Los Angeles area. Many of my high school and middle school aged students perform with their school's jazz band. Some have been accepted into the Los Angeles High School for Performing Arts at Cal State L.A. . Others would just like to be able to play a few songs for or with friends and relatives.
